Last week I took a short trip to Europe and spent three days in Milan.  Being an incredibly short trip, and my first time in the city, I took the opportunity to eat as many meals as I could stomach in a single day.  I tried my best to sample all the usual Italian favourites and discovered a few more to add to the list.  Steak was probably my main course of choice at every meal, and it was always served perfectly grilled and rare.  Milan serves amazing antipasti and I couldn’t get enough of the prosciutto with melon and insalata di polpo.  The most memorable meal was alongside Lake Como, which is a must visit if you are ever in Milan.  We had a prime table right beside the water in Bellagio, and sampled some of the freshest seafood I had while in Italy.  Can’t wait to see more of the area on my next visit.

Come back soon to see my next post about my trip to Paris!!
