We always feel lucky that one of our favourite spots, Blue Butcher, lies in our fun neighborhood, and were very excited to try their new list of cocktails and BBQ Ribs. Blue Butcher boasts a buzzing fun vibe with delicious scents wafting from their open kitchen. The bone marrow, steak tartare and Spanish ham & egg dishes were, as always, delicious. We quickly started ordering from the new cocktails on offer. Their Horse’s Head, utilizing horseradish as a main ingredient, was one of our favourites. If you are feeling adventurous try the Fig and Cheese cocktail for unique bursts of flavour that work perfectly together. The juicy BBQ ribs were served on a giant tray and have you hooked from the first bite. Make sure to order their succulent Australian Mann River Farm Bone in Ribeye as well, which is always my favourite dish when visiting. If you still have room for dessert try the sweet and tart Lemon Cappucciano, paired with the lethal but very fun Blue Butcher Digestive, served in an ice encased bottle. My favourite way to kick start any weekend.
