French Window Brasserie and Bar, located in a quiet corner in IFC, features a beautiful dining room and an authentic brasserie style menu for those who love Parisian eateries. We loved the ambient and intimate atmosphere creating the perfect scene for a Saturday date night. The impressive menu boasts plenty of fresh seafood and French classics with options that are perfect for sharing. We highly recommend their decadent, towering Grand Seafood Platter which is one of the best and most authentic we’ve had in HK. The oysters were fresh and juicy, the lobster sweet and meaty, the crab full of roe, and all the prawns, whelks, and cherrystone clams tasted enticingly of the sea. Other favourites off the menu include their large pot of French Window Mussels accented with flavours of duck and cream, the rich and flavourful Bone Marrow topped with snails and garlic butter, the crispy Crab Cakes on celery and apple salad with black truffle mayonnaise, the Halibut Fillet topped with breadcrumbs and curry crust, served with white wine braised leeks and mussels, and the Crunchy Suckling Pig with dauphinoise gratin, brasied edive and pommery mustard sauce. An ideal spot if you are craving authentic French cuisine.
