Hidden in a inconspicuous alley at the heart of Wan Chai is one of our favourite bars in HK. Djiboutii oozes cool ambiance and delicious food and cocktails. We loved sitting up at the bar where their talented bartender could recommend popular cocktails or daily specials and paired our refreshing drinks with a selection off their mouthwatering food menu. Don’t expect average bar food at this trendy spot, but a menu that is delicious, fresh, and ideal for sharing. Must try dishes include the exceptionally juicy Roast Chicken marinated in lemon, garlic and spices and cooked on site in their rotisserie oven, the flavourful, authentic and tender Mixed Grill selection, and the perfect for sharing Djiboutii platter of pita and a selection of fresh dips. Favourite cocktails of the night made by their talented bar tender were The Republic with Effen Cherry Vodka, grapefruit juice, cherry sour puree and sugar infused lemon, and the powerful Rum Old Fashioned. The unique and trendy decor, fun staff, and lively atmosphere create a perfect spot to enjoy after work drinks or a weekend with friends. We can’t wait to return for more.
