Eight Degrees South, located in the luxurious Conrad Bali, offers romantic beachfront dining with a stunning ocean view. We loved the sand adjacent outdoor seating and candlelit ambient set up, perfect for a special date night. Their menu is full of fresh seafood and classic grilled dishes ideal for a light and mouthwatering meal. Favourite dishes of the night were the crispy and flavourful Fried Scallop Parcels with pineapple kimchee and a light curry sauce, the juicy and tender Twice Cooked Pork Belly with eggplant, confit plum, star anise and local coffee flower honey, the perfectly prepared charcoal grilled Bamboo lobster, and the fragrant Confit of Balinese Duck with sauteed spinach, “Kentang Balado”, and orange anis jus. Make sure to save room for dessert. We loved the “Local Touch” with mangosteen chamomile panna cotta, frangipani mint jelly and coconut Jack fruit ice cream. An ideal finale to a relaxing and enjoyable meal.
