Fresh Modern Kitchen is a newcomer to the busy SoHo dining scene, with a focus on fresh seafood and produce. Their seafood bar boasts oysters, lobsters, and plenty of shellfish on ice that can be ordered on their generous seafood platter or in several of their mouthwatering dishes. For appetisers we highly recommend the gigantic Pan Fried Live Red Clams immersed in a light and fragrant broth of garlic and fresh basil, the buttery melt in your mouth Manchego and Iberico Toasties with Black Truffle Pate, and the unique and flavourful Croissant with Peking Duck, Leek and Cucumber. All dishes were ideal for sharing. For mains we loved their impressive Linguine with half a Live Boston Lobster and the fresh and flavourful Salt-Baked Whole Sea Bass in Dill, Lemon, Fennel and Ginger. Make sure to pair your meal with a few of their innovative cocktails, the Cube Old Fashioned being one of our favourites, or a bottle of wine from their European list. A definite must try for seafood lovers and those looking for fresh food and great drinks on a fun night out.
