Hidden in Wan Chai is a rustic, Italian haven serving authentic fare and great ambiance. Pirata boasts fresh ingredients, uncompromising quality, and classic, authentic recipes. We found all this to be true and more during our fun dinner out at their inviting venue. The welcoming space is ideal for date nights and nights out with friends and we loved the bar seating and cozy tables beside the floor to ceiling windows. The menu featured many of our favourite Italian dishes including the creamy Vitello Tonnato, mouthwatering classic “My Mamma’s Meatballs”, and the indulgent Tagliatelle with Sicilian Red Prawns and Zucchini. Each dish held true Italian flavours and showed high quality ingredients and execution. For main courses their juicy, perfectly cooked “The Butcher’s Cut” Flank Steak Tagliata with rocket and cherry tomatoes is a must order and we loved the fresh whole fish of the day which brought us straight back to seaside dates on the Italian coast. Don’t miss their sweetly decadent Tiramisu or the impressive list of perfectly concocted cocktails. We look forward to returning again in the near future.
