Gong Restaurant at The Santai is a great spot to enjoy Balinese and Western dishes with a twist. We loved the chef’s take on traditional cuisine and his use of spice to bring out the flavour in each dish. Favourites off the menu included the spicy and fragrant Hot & Sour Tiger Prawn Broth with Lemongrass, Coriander and Lime, the unique and flavourful Coconut, Tomato & Cinnamon Beef Ragout with Homemade Pappardelle and Parmesan, the tender and mouthwatering Slow Braised and Grilled Pork Spare Ribs in Tamarind and Sweet Soy Glaze, and the healthy and delicious Pan Fried Seared Tasmanian Salmon with Coriander Risotto, Shallots, Capers and Asparagus Spears. We were impressed with the use of fresh ingredients and the friendly service throughout our dining experience. A great place to enjoy a relaxed dinner with friends and family.
