Atelier Vivanda is Michelin Two-Star Chef Akrame Benallal’s French bistro, located on Ship Street in Wan Chai. Diners are treated to a simple, mouthwatering menu serving high quality fresh ingredients while featuring Chef Benallal’s signature, innovative culinary style. We highly recommend beginning with the tender and delicious Thinly Sliced Smoked Beef which is matured for 50 days. For our starters we loved the flavourful Duck Leg Terrine with vinegar and baby onions, and the light and unique Veal Carpaccio with passion fruit and coffee. The “La Viande” section of their menu features a selection of tempting, quality cuts of meat as the main course and we loved their tender, perfectly cooked Duck Breast and the juicy, mouthwatering Black Angus Flank Steak. Burger lovers cannot miss the “Le Croquavor” chef’s take on the French classic featuring a melt in you mouth beef patty that bursts with flavour. Their menu also features unlimited sides of potatoes cooked in a number of ways, the Gratin Dauphinois, Pommes Darphin and Mashed Potatoes being our favourites. Make sure to save room for their indulgent desserts such as the Traditional Moelleux 100% Chocolate with Green Citrus and the Creme Brulee and try their exceptionally good Badet Clement Seduction Chardonnay house white wine. An ideal spot for those looking for quality meat dishes prepared in perfect French form in a modern and inviting setting.
