Kubu, set beside the beautiful Ayung River, is a uniquely designed fine dining restaurant located at the luxurious Mandapa. We loved sitting in the other-worldly wooden pods to enjoy our date night and soaked up the intimate ambiance and majestic river views. The staff were attentive and ready to make our evening special, serving a delicious western menu with Indonesian touches. Highlights included the refreshing Tuna Crudo with Burrata Pugliese and Tomato Essence, indulgent Mascarpone and Eggplant Ravioli with Cod Fish and Smoked Ricotta, and the juicy and mouthwatering Wagyu Beef Rib Eye with Braised Tongue and Beef Jus. Each course was meticulously displayed and paired perfectly with their innovative in-house cocktails and extensive wine list. We couldn’t recommend a restaurant more if you are looking for a unique date night or celebratory meal.
