The surrounding areas of Soori Bali holds an abundance of Indonesian culture which is why it was a great and enlightening experience to tour the area with one of their knowledgeable staff and learn about the local community. We traversed on the surrounding roads on Segways and explored a village temple, local blacksmith, markets that sold authentic spices and fresh fruit, and were able to gain further knowledge about the community and how the locals operated small businesses around the resort. A perfect way to engage with villagers and learn more about the Balinese way of life.
