We were excited to discover Four Seasons Tokyo’s mouthwatering farm to table, French dining establishment, MOTIF Restaurant & Bar, which utilizes fresh, local produce to create technical and delicious fare. Not only does the venue have spectacular views of the city and chic modern design, but the kitchen is led by Head Chef Hiroyuki Asano and Culinary Advisor Chef Hiroshi Nakamichi who boasts 6 Michelin Stars in the recent Michelin Guide Hokkaido 2017. We highly recommend the “Terroir” menu to sample the chefs signature dishes, highlights of which included fresh prawn with Tosa Vinegar, indulgent Sea Urchin with Green Peas and Bisque, crisp and fresh Seasonal Vegetables topped with a generous dose of freshly shaved truffle, decadent Whelk with Caviar and rice, and delicious Olive Fed Grilled Beef with Japanese Green Pepper. Make sure to go for the sake pairing where you will experience sake from all different regions with unique and delightful flavours that paired with the menu perfectly. We loved the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere alongside plush booth seating and friendly, professional service. An ideal spot for a romantic date night, celebratory meal with friends, or impressive business engagement.
