Brasserie, located in the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto, is a relaxed and modern restaurant serving locally sourced fare, creating seasonal dishes for the discerning diner. We loved the open, contemporary space and cozy bar area ideal for an evening spent with friends and family. Take advantage of the outdoor terrace in warmer months, which overlooks their beautiful pond garden. The vibrant and fresh menu is varied and innovative, using modern cooking techniques and Japanese flavours. We loved the flavourful Konbu Crusted Maguro Tuna with Trout Roe, Turnip and Grapefruit Salad, the decadent Hand Chopped Kyoto Wagyu Beef Tartare with Truffle Aioli, Egg Yolk and Grilled Bread, the creamy and indulgent Linguini Lobster with Sea Urchin Cream Sauce and Lobster Foam, and the juicy and tender Aged Hiyoshi Pork Shoulder Loin with Cumin Spiced Carrot and Kumquat Jam. A perfect spot for a date night or a family dinner while visiting Kyoto.
