Dining at KAI Nikko is a mouthwatering traditional experience. Settle into one of the light and comfortable tatami rooms and prepare to be served a full kaiseki menu. You meal starts with delicate appetizers and fresh seafood and sashimi all comprised of local, fresh ingredients. The presentation is precise as are the uniquely vibrant and delicate flaovurs and textures. As we visited in the winter season our main course was a warming hot pot of KAI Nikko’s signature Wagyu Beef and Tofu Skin. The Wagyu was tender and flavourful and paired perfectly with the Soy Milk base. Our meal finished with comforting rice, miso soup and pickles as per tradition. Pair your meal with fragrant sakes from the menu and enjoy a live geta dance performance after dinner. A perfect way to experience authentic Japanese dining in a rustic and cozy environment.
