As our rental car carried us through scenes of lush greenery and quaint farm life, we knew we were in for a unique and beautiful experience at Cases de Son Barbassa. The countryside boutique hotel, located in Mallorca’s Capdepera, is an inviting, secluded getaway giving a true taste of local charm. We loved the rustic feel of their family suite featuring two bedrooms and picturesque views, ideal for our family of four. Cozy hidden nooks could be found throughout the property, from a relaxing reading room and inviting bar to a stunning restaurant featuring local fare and panoramic views. Their dreamy pool is an Instagram feed’s dream and was a tranquil spot for enjoying sunny afternoons. Adjacent to the pretty pool was a serene spa complete with outdoor jacuzzi and luxurious treatments. The hotel is housed in a finca, a Spanish farm, where they make their own olive oil and much of the produce used in the delicious restaurant. If you are looking to escape the crowds and experience a different, quieter side of Mallorca, this is the ideal spot. With touches of luxury and gourmet dining, alongside attentive design, you will be spoilt while enjoying a quaint country stay.
