Perched above picturesque Shark Bay is Taatoh Seaview Resort, a welcoming and comfortable home away from home in Koh Tao. We loved the family owned resort boasting unbeatable views, personal service, rustic and relaxing bungalows, and a mouthwatering authentic Thai restaurant. As we traversed down the steps to our stunning Family Goodview Bungalow we knew we were being treated to a special slice of the island. You feel aboslute privacy facing the unique and beautiful bay full of marine life, crystal clear waters, and staggering cliff views. The family villa comes complete with two large bedrooms, a spacious bathroom, a breezy Seaview terrace, and absolutely rustic charm. Although the bungalows are Thai style they feature comforting modern amenities like sumptuous beds, air conditioning in each room, and fridges and kettles for all your family needs. You will find yourself only steps from Shark Bay’s secluded beach where you can easily snorkel in the clear and refreshing waters. We enjoyed all our meals in the delicious restaurant where they served generous Thai and Western breakfasts and irresistible local fare. Although you feel secluded from the tourist crowds, Taatoh Seaview Resort is within easy reach of the islands sights. The friendly staff can help arrange a variety of diving or snorkelling trips, drive you to the nearest bays or beaches, and you are only a five minute walk to spectacular view points and stunning Freedom Beach. We loved every minute of our stay and felt immersed in the islands culture and beauty a this welcoming and unique resort. If you are looking for undisturbed views of Koh Tao’s natural beauty, local charm, and rustic bunglows built with modern touches this is the ideal spot. Perfect for family or couples looking for a slice of privacy on one of Thailand’s most beautiful islands.
