Finolhu always receives rave reviews from our family and our second trip to the beautiful island was no exception. Located in the Baa Atoll, surrounded by stunning coral and marine life, there’s few better places for an idyllic family holiday. Our luxurious overwater villa offered panoramic ocean views, a large private pool, and steps right into the crystal clear water. The expansive terrace featured plenty of space for dining and relaxing and picturesque sunsets each evening. Their indulgently comfortable king size beds ensured we slumbered in peace throughout our stay and we loved all the luxurious touches including the deep bathtub and indoor and outdoor showers.
You’ll be spoilt for choice with things to do from a huge interactive kids club to art studios, a waterpark in the ocean, motorised and non-motorised water sports, snorkelling tours throughout the house reef, a fully equipped gym overlooking the ocean, and so much more. For our children a true highlight was the mermaid who visited the main swimming pool and their nightly entertainment which included a circus show during our stay. The variety of white sand beaches meant you had plenty of space and privacy and service was always above and beyond.
Dining options are always a highlight at Finolhu. Enjoy a variety of cuisines and delicious fresh fare at their all day dining restaurant, Beach Kitchen, or indulge at one of their many a la carte venues. We love the rustic beach shack vibes and delicious seafood at Crab Shack and never miss a chance to indulge in Japanese fare overwater at Kansuan. Their Middle Eastern restaurant, Arabian Grill, is a must try with vibrant aromatic flavours and an ambient setting each evening.
