Venice Beach is one of our favourite areas in Los Angeles and Hotel Erwin is at the heart of the vibrant area. The welcoming and stylish boutique hotel is just steps from the bustling beach boardwalk and perfect for families or friends looking for large suites and modern comfort during their stay.
We loved our spacious King Suite boasting a cozy separate lounge and dining area, luxurious bedroom and even a private balcony with partial ocean views. We were surrounded by all of Venice’s foodie hotspots and Erwin’s General was open daily for us to grab breakfast or stock up on essentials in our room.
Venice is ideal for those who want to see an artistic and relaxed vibe while staying in LA. We loved browsing the neighbourhood vintage shops, grabbing tacos from the food trucks, and admiring the beautifully designed homes. If you’re looking for a photo opportunity with the famous Venice Beach sign you’ll be happy to hear it’s directly adjacent to Hotel Erwin’s front entrance and we were only a short walk to the idyllic Venice Canals and trendy Abbot Kinney Blvd.
Hotel Erwin also offers discounts from a variety of local businesses including electric scooter rental, massages and poke bowls. The staff are quick to recommend all the top spots and help you plan a trip to remember. Their rooftop bar has one of the best sunset gazing spots in the area and you can’t beat people watching or long walks on the buzzing beach.
