Le Bab, located in buzzing Kingly Court, aims to drive a “kebab renaissance” in London with their mouth-watering menu of individual and sharing kebabs and a delicious selection of eclectic starters and desserts. Headed by the team that previously worked at Le Gavroche, Le Bab presents a well curated menu of kebabs utilizing research from worldly travels and a passion for charcoal grilled meat. We recommend starting with their flavourful and crunchy Meatlafel with Tzatziki, and the sweet and savoury Lokma Doughnut filled with spiced chicken liver parfait which was a unique and delicious treat. The kebab options all sounded tempting but we finally decided on the Free Range Pork Shawarma with winter salad, Beetroot & Chilli, Crackling and Pork Aioli, and the Roe Deer Adana with Cavolo Nero Kimchi, Jerusalem Artichoke Crisps, Blackberry & Chilli Jam and Game Mayo, both of which were packed with flavour without being the overly greasy heavy kebabs we are often used to. Don’t forget to try a few of their cocktails to go with your meal, the Smokey Sour and Gin Basil Smash being two of our favourites. An ideal spot to dine with friends and feast on kebabs created from only high quality, fresh ingredients.
