Located at the heart of Ollantaytambo, Chuncho was was one of our favourite dining experiences in the region.  The stylish meets rustic restaurant serves a concise menu of organic fare perfectly executed with intricate cooking techniques and local ingredients. The chef focuses on Peruvian recipes but with an elevated twist and fine dining presentation sure to please the discerning diner. We instantly fell for the intimate and relaxed setting algonside delicious fare.

Start with one of their refreshing signature cocktails before moving on to the vibrant menu. Highlights included the crisp and flavourful Solterito with Cochallullo, the juicy and fragrant Alpaca Anticuchos, the delicate and delightful Trucha con Sarza de Trigo, and unique and tender Pato Enchichado. Every bite was surprising, bursting with flavour and the quality of the ingredients were evident with everything we tried. A must try spot for foodies visiting the Sacred Valley and an ideal spot to spend the evening after a fun day of sightseeing.
