Va Bene is a romantic and chic Italian haven set at the epicentre of Lan Kwai Fong. The menu and decor exudes a sense of sophistication alongside Italian authenticity. I highly recommend the yellow fin tuna and green apple tartare and baby squid in pistachio crust to start. Both were a delicious and unique combination of flavours and textures. The house made tagliolini neri served with lobster is a must order from their menu, and if you are always searching for a good steak like myself the filetto di manzo which was simple and cooked to perfection. We ended the meal with a traditional tirmamisu which was creamy and ideal for sharing, and for those who enjoy grappa, you must try the grapes soaked in grappa served at the end of the meal. Definitely offers more of a kick than an after dinner espresso. A great spot for a first date or a delicious meal with friends.
