BAKED PORTUGUESE STYLE CHICKEN WITH RICE

The cool people over at Converse invited me to their pre-party dinner at Tai Ping Koon last month.  I love the concept of fusing cool brands with my love for food, and the pairing of a relaxed and local dining experience with one of my favourite shoe brands was something I was eager to support.  This was my first visit to Tai Ping Koon which serves a typical Hong Kong style east meets west menu.  I am obsessed with chicken wings and theirs were incredibly delicious and went well with beer.  For my main course I chose the fried rice noodles with beef.  This is one of my favourite Hong Kong local dishes which I eat on a weekly basis, and I highly recommend Tai Ping Koon’s recipe.  Can’t wait to return and try more of their menu.  A great place to bring friends for a chilled, fun dinner.
