We are quickly falling for all the cute cafes and cozy bistros popping up in the Tai Ping Shan/Sheung Wan area. The neighborhood is fast becoming a great spot for unique and delicious restaurants, and Upper Modern Bistro stands out as one of the best new additions. We loved the modern yet inviting decor and friendly service and staff. The dishes were beautifully presented and integrated innovative cooking techniques with fresh and delicious ingredients. Our favourite dishes included the outstanding Fatty Tuna & Squab Roll with Piquillos & Tomato (a must have), the Lentil Soup which comes with an indulgent bun that oozes with a rich quails egg, and the fresh and delicate sole with potato sauce and crab meat. The menu offers plenty of choice whether you are sharing, in the mood for seafood, or something hearty and satisfying. A perfect date night spot for a reliably tasty and enjoyable dining experience.
