We have been waiting to try Kau Kee Restaurant for quite some time, but the eager line of waiting patrons littering Gough Street was always a daunting prospect. After some careful timing and planning (go on a weekday when they first open), we finally grabbed a coveted table and were able to indulge in their famous beef brisket with E-fu noodles in broth and their beef tendon in curry sauce with flat noodles. We sampled the dishes in both their regular broth and the heavier, spicier curry sauce. Both were delicious and we really loved the tender beef brisket paired with the E-fu noodles and the delicous taste of the curry sauce with the beef tendon. Needless to say not one bite was left in the bowl. A definite local must try.
