It’s easy to pass by Lan Fong Yuen, hidden behind the busy carts that line Gage Street, but once you slip inside the crowded joint it’s popularity is evident. We visited on a random afternoon and the tables were still buzzing with customers eager to try their signature dishes. We recommend their creamy and sweet ice milk tea, buttery soft and fresh hong kong bun, and the famous pork chop bun served with a generous juicy pork chop. The menu also includes a variety of instant noodle dishes which is a must eat when visiting Hong Kong. We liked the dry variety served with freshly pan fried chicken and plenty of flavour. A must try spot if you are searching for an authentic HK dining experience.
