The beautiful Cafe Gray Deluxe, located in chic boutique hotel The Upper House, is now offering a new delicious brunch available on Saturdays and Sundays. There are few better spots to gaze at HK’s iconic skyline while enjoying your morning eggs and coffee and Cafe Gray Deluxe offers one of the best brunch menus in the city. We loved that there was a variety on the menu giving you the option to go full on breakfast with eggs and pastries or indulge in a proper three course lunch. We couldn’t resist starting with one of their intricately prepared Espresso Martinis and Bloody Marys while enjoying the serene blue sky outside. Favourite dishes off the menu included their decadent and rich Poached Eggs Benedict on English Muffin, the sweet and refreshing Lobster Cobb Salad with smoked bacon and avocado, the juicy and perfectly cooked Cafe Gray Black Angus Burger with caramelised onions, Gruyere cheese, tomato confit and seasoned frites, and their Roasted Iberico Pork Feather Loin with cranberry reduction, bacon, salsify, onions, chestnuts and Brussels sprouts. Each dish successfully lived up to Cafe Gray Deluxe’s usual decadence and quality and showed great attention to detail. Make sure you save room for their mouthwatering desserts like the delicious Grand Marnier Bitter Chocolate Mousse.
