Le Bistro Winebeast is a petite eatery opened by the great team behind the Winebeast wine shop. They have successfully created an intimate and welcoming space for customers to enjoy their well curated selection of wine alongside modern French cuisine. Chef Johan Ducroquet, who was trained at several Michelin starred restaurants, has added exciting twists to his French classics making it a unique dining experience. We loved the fresh and delicious fare and recommend their tender Stuffed Squid with capsicum, tomato and courgette, grilled chorizo, squid ink and quail egg, the beautifully presented Griddle-Grilled Scallops with passion fruit and vanilla vinaigrette, cauliflower puree and butternut squash, and the rich and juicy Roasted Pigeon with pan-fried foie gras, black olive jus, cabbage marmalade and beetroots. Save room for their Cafe Gourmand dessert which consisted of a mini creme brulee, a mini dark chocolate fondant, fromage blanc sorbet and vanilla a pepper ice cream. We loved their recommended wine pairings which accented each dish perfectly. At Le Bistro Winebeast you can also drink any wine from the Winebeast retail shop and pay the same price as you would if you were to take it home. A perfect neighborhood date night spot.
