Nelayan Restaurant at Belmond Jimbaran Puri offers a fresh and mouthwatering Mediterranean influenced menu, ideal for beach dining. We love the chic yet relaxed atmosphere and amazing ocean view, which was the perfect addition to our lunch or dinner. For lunch we highly recommend their delicious fresh salads including the varied and unique A La Minute Seafood Salad with Rare Salmon, Octopus, Prawn, Scallop, Mussel, Tuna, Tobiko and Trout Roe, and the tempting Bedugul Vine Ripe Tomato & Mozzarella Salad with Burrata Cheese, Arugula, Pesto and Balsamic Reduction. Other favourites included the juicy, perfectly grilled Spiced Jimbaran Jumbo Prawns and the cannot miss classic Nasi Goreng. Favourites from their dinner menu were the indulgent Pan Seated Foie Gras with Balinese Apple Cider Puree, Toasted Brioche, Herb Salad, Balsamic & Raspberry Coulis, the unique and delicious “Jimbaran Bay Lobster & Prawns” which was served carpaccio style with chilled Tom Yam Bisque Sauce, Lemongrass, Chili & Thai Herbs, and the tender, cooked to perfection Charcoal Grilled Black Angus Beef Tenderloin. We couldn’t fault any dish we sampled at Nelayan Restaurant and served alongside a stunning view, intimate ambiance, and attentive service, made it the ideal date spot during our stay.
