Nothing pairs with great food better than delicious wine and we were eager to pair all of Bali’s delicious fare with a local winery for a real taste of the island. Sababay Winery is considered 100% Indonesian working with local Balinese grape farmers to create a sustainable business and product that supports local workers and land. We highly recommend their crisp and refreshing Moscato d’Bali Sparkling Wine for hot sunny days, paired with long lazy lunches and Bali’s mouthwatering organic salads. Their Pink Blossom Rose and White Velvet wines are both light and sweet, and taste amazing with the wide selection of fresh seafood. Their Reserve Red holds nice rich notes and goes amazingly with all Asian cuisine, especially the natural spices in fragrant Balinese fare. We couldn’t miss dessert and loved pairing our sweets with the indulgent Ludisia Sweet Red Wine, ideal as a night cap for a smooth end to the night.
