The Sunday Walking Market is an ideal afternoon out for exploring a different side of Phuket. We loved the beautiful streets full of colourful colonial buildings and the variety on offer in the area. The buzzing ambiance brings a fusion of amazing street eats, local artisans, lively music, and fun cafes and bars lined up alongside the market. Bring the kids and let them feast on local fruit and dance in the streets, or grab a selection from the mouthwatering stands and set up at a local bar where you can pair your street food spread with an ice cold Thai beer. Head over around 5pm and catch a stunning sunset against the bright buildings before spending the rest of your night shopping, snacking, and soaking in the culture. A great way to experience authentic Thai cuisine in a casual, fun, and unique market.

  1. Ribs and the sausages look great. They have a similar market on Koh Samui that moves around the Island. Pity you were too early for durian season!
