Christmas is such an exciting time of year and as we have been traveling we barely noticed it was right around the corner. Luckily we headed to Singapore just as Regent Singapore was commencing it’s Festive Getaway and were able to join the fun and start getting in the mood for the holiday season. Located near Orchard Road, Regent Singapore is perfectly placed to enjoy the city’s Christmas lights and holiday decor. The warm and welcoming lobby was full of friendly staff ready to ensure you have a comfortable stay and we loved the holiday corner set up for gifts and festive treats. In keeping with Disney’s Princess themed Christmas lights on Orchard Road, Regent have created a Princess Afternoon Tea ideal for a mother and daughter afternoon. We loved the alluring cake selection, warm and satisfying scones, and delicate savoury bites. For dinner we headed to the mouthwatering Basilico restaurant for an authentic Italian feast. We are always looking to indulge over the holiday season and can’t think of a better place to treat ourselves and our loved ones than with the sumptuous authentic Italian spread offered here. After dinner we took a walk to gaze at the Christmas lights and do a little shopping before returning to our room for a winter perfect turndown service where our children were treated to hot chocolate before bed and we were treated to Manhattan’s fragrant Mulled Wine. We left the next morning truly excited for December and the holiday season. A great choice for couples or families looking for festive cheer while visiting Singapore.
