Ostra was one of our favourite dinner spots while staying at the luxurious Andaz Costa Rica. Featuring a romantic opening dining area overlooking the lush jungle and sparkling stars and a vibrant outdoor patio, it is a perfect spot for a date night, dinner with friends, or  a quiet evening with the family.

We loved the seafood heavy menu alongside Italian influences and delicious use of fresh, local ingredients. We started with the flavourful Cameron Ranchero Ceviche, the addictive Sliced Sea Bass Ceviche, and the richly decadent “Tartaro de Finca” Beef Tenderloin Tartare.

For main courses we couldn’t resist the tender and fragrant “Langosta a la Parrilla” Grilled Spiny Lobster Tail, and the impressive ‘Tagliatelle & Mariscos al Hierro” Tagliatelle with Butter-Seared Seafood with Crustacean-Tomato Sauce. Every bite paired perfectly with a well selected wine from their impressive list and we enjoyed the intimate ambiance and friendly service throughout our meal. A must try for foodies visiting the Papagayo area.
