I recently travelled to Boracay for a two week holiday full of sun, sand, and of course food. Here are some of my favourite meals and scenes.
I highly recommend Borcay for those who love white sand beaches, postcard worthy sunsets, and amazing affordable cuisine. If you love seafood, Boracay is the best place for it. You will see people of all ages fishing throughout the day and all the fresh fare is available to you. My favourite meal while on the island was D’Talipapa, the wet market located at Station Two. You can bargain for fresh seafood at the market, think gigantic lobsters, prawns, and whole fish, and stop at any of the surrounding restaurants where they will prepare your finds for a cheap cooking fee. The restaurants don’t charge corkage so bring your own wine or local rum and have a cheap but incredible meal!
Best for BBQ lovers: I Heart Backyard BBQ or Hawiian BBQ
Best for Romantic meal: Alchemy located at Station 2
Best for daytime drinking/happy hour: Fridays, Happy Hour 3-6pm
Best Sunset Spot: Willy’s Rock
Best Unique Decor: Treehouse located at Station 3
Best Cheap Eats: Andoks
