Yakiniku, not to be mistaken for Korean BBQ, is Japanese style grill, a little lighter, and more based around beef. One of the places we’ve been going since we moved here is Morihachi Yakiniku. Mainly because if you eat after 9:30pm it’s 50% off drinks and 20% off food. Perfect for late dining. The 18cm short rib and bite size beef are always juicy and delicious and they have a vast variety of pork dishes if you aren’t a beef lover. I highly recommend the chicken with basil and lime and cold tofu or kimchi as sides. Perfect for long dinners with a side of very affordable cocktails.
