If you follow me on Instagram (@danielhungryhk) you probably know we are slightly addicted to hot pot.  Together Pot in Sai Ying Pun has become our hotpot spot and you can find me here at least once a week.  I am not usually partial to the bright fluorescent lights of many hotpot/cooked food market/da pai dong venues, which is why Together Pot is my preferred venue.  Their dim lighting and rustic wooden decor give the entire place a quaint, country feel.  Their soup bases are fresh, and the staff are always beyond helpful.  I recommend the Shaoshing wine soup base and marinated chicken or Sichuan if you are a chili lover.  My usual hotpot ingredients include Japanese oysters, cheese sausages, crispy fish skin, and Taiwan pork ball but there are pages of fresh fare for you to choose.  Six types of beef, an entire page dedicated to seafood, or plenty of veggies if you aren’t a carnivore.  Don’t forget to perfect your sauce making skills which is essential for a great hot pot experience.
