SOME OF THE MENU AT MEGAN’S KITCHEN
LATE SUPPER DEAL
I have expressed my love for hotpot in the past and tend to frequent the same place. It has become a comfort for chilled nights, but last week we decided to try something new and followed all the rave reviews to Megan’s Kitchen. Megan’s Kitchen is not your typical Chinese hotpot joint which is evident from the moment you set eyes on the easy to utilize English menu. Soup bases are unique and vary from cheese souffle to apple and corn with spare ribs. I loved the fact that you could try three soups at once and the friendly staff were informative making the ordering process incredibly fuss free. Their menu offers very vibrant and unique hot pot ingredients including rainbow cuttlefish balls and cheesy beef tongue dumplings. I highly recommend the US deluxe beef, pumpkin cuttlefish balls, salted duck egg yolk and pork balls, and Sichuan spicy tofu soup base. There is plenty to try so we will be returning in the very near future to sample more of their fresh handmade hotpot ingredients and innovative soup bases. Perfect for those who fear the traditional hotpot style or if you are looking for more variety than the usual selection.
