Mexican joints are a definite HK trend sweeping the city, but we definitely think Brickhouse is here to stay. Not only is the food insanely delicious, but the atmosphere boasts a cool vibe that is usually only found in trendier neighborhoods of NYC and London. The industrial design, friendly service and unique cocktails make a perfect setting to spend an evening bonding with friends. We went to try their new menu which met every high expectation. I highly recommend their queso fundito, Mexican street corn, and indulgent slow cooked goat Barbacoa tacos. Don’t worry if you are a veggie, the beet fries and watermelon salad were two of our favourite dishes. If you are a cocktail addict like us the Diabla is not one to miss. Remember to arrive early if you expect to get a table. This popular spot fills up fast, but the buzzing crowd adds to the lively ambiance. Can’t wait to return for my next taco fix.
