HK has a new trendy Italian hanging out in Central and it comes in the form of a delicious restaurant and bar otherwise known as Il Milione. Nestled within a grand entrance sits a pleasingly dark and ultra cool spot providing the perfect escape from a busy day. Think golden lit ceilings, romantic cozy tables, and an insanely drool worthy array of food and wine. We sampled the lunch menu and were very impressed with the delicious choices and affordable price. I highly recommend their buffalo mozzarella and Umbrian tomato salad which incorporates a unique and tasty tomato tartare. The marinated salmon is fresh and manages to melt in your mouth and the star dish was the pan fried pigeon breast on open ravioli. I have always been a huge fan of pigeon and Il Milione’s version with the innovative open ravioli concept was the perfect combination of flavours and textures. Don’t forget to pair your meal with their carefully selected wine list and try one of the much talked about Negroni cocktails. Can’t wait to return and taste what else they offer for dinner.
