Lamma Island is one of our favourite hang outs when summer rolls around and the abundance of seafood restaurants stands as it’s main attraction. If you have ever visited Lamma you will have noticed the strip of open air eateries offering fish tanks packed with the island’s freshest catch. It is hard to know which one to choose but Rainbow is often a safe bet. Probably the most popular, offering its own transportation from Central, Rainbow gives a distinct holiday ambiance. It may be pricier than it’s surrounding neighbors but the delicious recipes and friendly service make it worth every penny. As usual I’m always partial to a fresh steamed fish, clams in black bean sauce, and steamed scallops served with garlic. None of them disappointed. Perfect to bring visitors or a casual dinner after a long day on the beach. Order one of the set menus and make sure to pair with plenty of beer.
