Japanese free flow brunches are usually our favourite so we decided to try Roka as an alternative to the frequently packed one at Zuma. Roka is set in the serene shopping mall surroundings of Pacific Place and serves as a great spot for quiet family dining. Far less of a party mood, but ideal if you crave a relaxed Sunday lunch. The buffet and main course menus are very similar to what is on offer at Zuma’s Sunday brunch, maybe just in less abundant platters. I highly recommend their black angus tenderloin main course which was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The black cod and salmon teriyaki are also both great quality and deliciously tender. A perfect spot to bring children or have a large family gathering.
