We returned to one our our favourite HK restaurants, Whisk, for their Sunday brunch last week. To call this a brunch is a bit of an understatement. Imagine a selection delectable smoked fish, freshly shucked oysters, a caviar station complete with vodka shots, poached lobster, a BBQ station, and an abundant selection of light and fresh salads. That’s not even including their made to order egg dishes and main courses. Seriously it was an experience. I was obsessed with their smoked salmon and fresh oysters and the BBQ station set up outside adjacent to Vibes bar was one of the highlights of our meal. Perfectly marinated meats and dipping sauces makes me want to return all summer. Their poached egg with truffle espuma was one of my favourite egg dishes to date and don’t miss the tender beef cheeks as a main course. If you still have room, which we did, there is an entire room dedicated to indulgent sweets and cheeses and of course everything paired with free flow Veuve Clicquot and freshly muddled cocktails made the afternoon even more enjoyable. Last but not least, while we waited for our main courses there was a magician who shocked us both with hisamazing tricks. Perfect for family and groups of friends on a lazy Sunday. If you love free flow Sunday brunches this is not one to miss!
