You may remember 1968 Indonesian Restaurant when it was located in Causeway Bay and known just as Indonesian Restaurant. One of the first authentic places to bring the delicious cuisine to Hong Kong, they have now changed location but maintained their authentic recipes and personable friendly service. You must try their beef tenderloin satay which has turned a moreish street food staple into mouthwatering cubes of marinated beef tenderloin. Other favourites were the sour and spicy fish, served piping hot in a stone pot and the traditional Indonesian fried rice with satay, combining a plethora of textures and flavours that keeps you going back for more. Pair everything with a refreshing mojito or Indonesian beer for a perfect meal. One of our new favourite hangouts in Hong Kong, we can’t wait to come back for more.
