Blue Butcher is one of our favourite spots when craving a hearty meat dish, so we were extremely excited to try their Sunday brunch. We had heard rumours about the foie gras stand and their juicy rib of beef and the selection did not disappoint. The appetizer buffet includes an array of flavourful salads, foie gras on toast, and freshly made waffles. We loved the potato salad, caprese, and of course all you can eat foie gras. There is also a fresh seafood section serving up oysters and refreshing lemon poached shrimp. The main course is served a la carte and we went straight for thick juicy roast beef and perfectly cooked (roast chicken). The roast beef was one of the best I have tasted in HK, something that I miss constantly since moving over from London. We also spotted plenty gigantic burgers going around, and vowed to return for a taste. If you still have room try the fruity sorbet, which tasted amazing alongside our free flow Veuve Clicquot. A perfect Sunday brunch for all those steak and meat lovers out there.
