Taipei is one of our favourite Asian destinations, and one of the main reasons is the food.  We never know where to start and always seem to feel like we are missing something delicious despite stuffing ourselves full of every local street food and delicacy our appetites can handle.  Make sure to visit the night markets, amazing street food stalls in Ximending, and even the first Din Tai Fung.  
 
If you are looking for an affordable and chic boutique hotel during your stay our preferred spot is Muzik Hotel in Ximending.  Set at the centre of all the action, offering Taipei’s busy street stalls, local eateries, tourist attractions, and markets right on your front steps.  You are even in easy distance from the Taiwan High Speed Rail if you are craving day excursions to the countryside.  The decor is modern, trendy, and offers clean amenities and helpful staff to keep you comfortable throughout your stay.  We are currently planning our next trip to Taipei this fall and can’t wait to be greeted by the friendly staff at Muzik Hotel.
