We returned to one of our favourite Wyndham Street restaurants to test drive their new weekend brunch menu, and were not only impressed with the extensive selection on offer, but the personal and ambient experience on a busy weekend day. Casa Lisboa is a perfect brunch for those who aren’t fans of all you can eat buffet style dining. They offer an affordable three or four course menu and have a free flow option to make the experience all the more enjoyable. Much of what’s available is on their usual a la carte menu, so it’s a great opportunity to sample their delicious specialities with a lower price tag. We love the stuffed crab, Portuguese sausage flambee which is cooked table side, and juicy “Pica Pau” beef cubes to start. Order their classic roasted suckling pig, flavourful duck rice old style, or the signature bacalhau and share the main courses family style. We recommend pairing everything with the crisp and refreshing Vinho Verde and bring a group of family and friends for a fun and delicious weekend brunch.
