Sheung Wan’s new neighborhood addition, Shelter Lounge, offers a perfect venue for relaxed dining, daytime meetings, dinner parties, or just an afternoon coffee.  Split over two levels, the space houses a ground floor cafe style area serving fresh pastries, set lunch menus, and a great caffeine fix.  Upstairs is a spacious dining space, featuring comfortable surrounding and private dining areas.  We loved the minimal chic design, and welcoming ambiance.  The menu is delicious, light, and perfect for sharing.  Start with their refreshing amberjack carpaccio or the perfectly cooked clams paired with chorizo.  Our favourite mains were the grilled hanger steak, the juicy and flavourful duck breast, and their tender, melt in your mouth coffee butter lamb loin.  It was evident all their dishes were prepared with great care from quality produce, and everything was presented in a clean and enticing manner.  The price points are incredibly affordable for this level of quality.  A definite must try when in the Sheung Wan area.
