We are always searching for a sanctuary after a huge boozy night, when all we crave is a gigantic, satisfying breakfast and maybe a hint of hair of the dog. Aberdeen Street’s weekend “drunch” offers just that. Meander in after sleeping late and choose from The Hangover menu, which offers 2 hours of free flow champagne, bloody mary, or rose or white wine, and your choice of food from their Total Recovery or Eggs Bar Menu, plus coffee and juice. Food options range from a eggs benedict with various toppings to breakfasts suitable for mild or disastrous hangovers. The menu including free flow is only $398 and perfect if you don’t want to commit to a full on buffet. We loved the generous eggs benedict and of course couldn’t resist anything called “the walk of shame” which includes all you would need to wipe away that yucky feeling. Each dish tasted fresh and comforting and service was friendly and personable. We recommend the outdoor terrace so you can have a side of sunshine or fresh air with your meal.
