After hearing great things about The Greenhouse we were very excited for this to be one of the first restaurants we tried during our trip to London. The restaurant is set within a tree lined path making you feel a million miles away from London’s busy shops and traffic. We loved the spacious dining area, full of light and elegant ambiance. The Greenhouse offers an A la Carte Menu, a Tasting Menu, the Chef’s Discovery Menu and a weekly changing set lunch menu. I opted for the tasting menu, which featured some smaller sized portions from their a la carte menu. Each course is beautifully displayed and the service is professional and friendly from the moment you walk in. The first course was their signature Cornish Crab, which combined delicate and delicious textures and flavours. I loved the rich, indulgent foie gras course and the light Monkfish course which came in a delicate broth. The lamb was extremely tender and flavourful and was perfectly cooked. The Orange dessert course was the ideal end to the meal with refreshing fruit and sweet pastry. Each course was paired perfectly with wines recommended by their sommelier. I look forward to dining at The Greenhouse again during my next visit to London.
