If you follow me on Instagram, you are probably aware I have a slight obsession with burgers.  After discovering a string of burger joints in Brighton since my last visit, I couldn’t help but taste as many as possible and give my two cents on which are worth the indulgence.

BURGER BROTHERS
The Classic Beef Burger from the newly opened Burger Brothers down North Street was one of the best burgers I had had in a long time. Cooked to order and smothered in Cracked Black Pepper Mayo, Burger Brothers isn’t the cheapest burger joint in Brighton but it might be the best. Worth every penny, I can’t wait to try their whole menu.

BRIGHTON BURGER
At only 5 Pounds for the double patty, the double Banjo Burger from Brighton Burger is a real bargain. Large, nicely charred and lots of flavour. A great burger.

TROLL’S PANTRY
I went to the Hobgoblin to try their much raved about burger at lunch time. Unfortunately their lunch menu is slightly different from their evening menu so I didn’t get the full experience, but I opted for the Double Merchant Burger from Troll’s Pantry. The burger was tender and melted in your mouth with fresh, beefy goodness. I look forward to having dinner there on my next visit.

BURGER KULT
Another great burger was The Whiplash Burger at Burger Kult at The Mash Tun. A large juicy chopped steak burger with BBQ glaze, caramelised onions and melted cheese. Fresh in flavour and extremely satisfying. They have some other great burgers on their menu, such as The Death Melt 3000, which i’m excited to try next time.

MEATLIQUOR
After the huge success of their branch in London, Meatliquor decided to open their new venue in Brighton. Big, tasty, perfectly cooked burgers in a great space and environment with a great selection of beers. What more do you want?
