THE DINING AREA
Established in 1933, Luk Yu Tea House is an HK institution boasting colonial style design and serving the city’s traditional dim sum dishes. The tea house gained notoriety in 2002 when a prestigious businessman was assassinated while dining on the premises. Today you will see loyal local customers and businessmen returning time after time for the delicious food and classic ambiance. We loved the traditional feel upon arrival and incredibly polite service. Many of our usual dim sum dishes were available but tasted more fresh and flavourful than the typical restaurant. Favourite dishes included the fresh shrimp dumplings, the shrimp and pork meat dumplings and the roasted duck meat & chestnut pie. A perfect spot to bring the parents or visitors for an authentic dim sum experience.
